(obvious spoiler warning for those who haven't seen it yet
and for the non-whovians
this post will be about doctor who
just warning ya)
HOLY TARDIS OF GALLIFREY HOW COOL WAS IT OHMYGOD
OOOOOOOOOOH MY GOD
WHEEEE!!!!!!!!
I don't think I found it quite as sad as I should have
mostly because I was already pretty done with Smith
like, I love him and all, but it's like the Ponds.. he's had his time. (And everything ends).
Also yay the time lords weren't complete asses for once, yay!
Now all the fannerds can speculate as to how in hell they did that (and whether it's the same mechanism they gave the Master his extra regens with) and how many new regenerations he'll have.
Yay! I'm tho thuper exthited.
And yay he actually got a proper goodbye scene, without being all old and walking-stick-y.
Although old!Doctor looked creepily realistic.
OH and how he remembered Amy, that was beautiful. (Although they should have had him remember River in that scene too)
It was quite funny actually, the episode had just finished and I was kinda just being like 'Whoaaaa' and reeling from it all (as you do), when Mum goes,
'Wait, is that the new Doctor?' (Re: WowCapaldiwheeeeeeeeeenewdoctor)
Me: 'Yeah, that's him. Smith just regenerated.'
Mum: 'I thought we were having that Scottish one back.'
*facehoof*
'That's really not how it works, Mum...'
I mean, i wish that was how it worked, but no...
Anyone else have some Doctor Who-watching anecdotes?
